Sri Keraleshwar Devasthan
The Sri Keraleshwar Devasthan on Keraleshwar Street, South Cherlai, Cochin, is a Shiva temple built in the 18th century by Kalaga Prabhu, a merchant. He is believed to have brought the Shivling from Rameshwaram. The temple was later passed on to the Raja of Cochin who handed it over to the Cochin Thirumala Devaswom in 1780 A.D. Nagadevata is also worshipped in the temple while Mahashivratri is one of the temple's big celebrations.
