Located in a 70-year-old traditionally tiled Kerala mansion in the midst of natural surroundings and facing the backwaters, Keraleeyam Heritage Home as the name suggests, is ideal for throwing your worries away and relaxing. The green and dense vegetation all around the resort makes the air healthy and rich in oxygen.
Comfort and gracious living are the two qualities that best describe the facilities at Keraleeyam. The large air-conditioned rooms done up in traditional style have all modern amenities. The décor is unusual since the beds, tables and chairs are handcrafted by local artsans.
In keeping with traditional Kerala hospitality, the food at Keraleeyam comprising the staple rice and lip-smacking curries, is served on large banana leaves. Delicacies from continental and Chinese cuisines are also available. As with food, the resort has arrangements for entertainment of guests. These include elephant rides, village tours, backwater cruises, dances and temple celebrations.
The resort's speciality is the Ayurvedic massages. These massages with oils and potions prepared at the resort's 60-year-old factory, are guaranteed to rejuvenate and recharge the human body.
